Welcome to the Computer Roundup Art Gallery
I have had an interest in art since I was very young. In high school and college I took art classes. There were no computers then as we know them now. Just pencils, ink, paint, and crayons. Then in the late 1970's the first computers for home use started to show up.
There have been great changes in Computer Graphics in the last twenty-four years. My wife and I have had an interest in CG ever since we got our first TI99/4A computers in 1982. The TI had very primitive graphics capabilities and not much processing power compared to our current computers, but it did graphics, and that made it interesting. It led me into a career of computer repair, and helped my wife to do graphic design for supplemental income.
There are many fine programs to create graphics today. Some have been around for many years and have improved with advancements in computers. My favorites are the 3D programs. Todays 3D software is capable of creating pictures that look like photographs. Some of my favorite 3D programs are Bryce, Mojoworld, Poser, TrueSpace, and Vue. Each has its strenghs. All of these are relatively low cost programs.
Click on a gallery on the left. I hope you enjoy the artwork. If you have an interest in computer graphics, feel free to stop in the store and ask questions. This section of the website is a work in progress. I will add pictures in the various catagories as I find time create them.
